Human Resources and Emiratization Sign MoU with Saud Bin Rashid Program for Youth Projects Support






The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization today signed a memorandum of understanding with the Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla Program to sponsor the youth projects in Umm Al Quwain to grant projects affiliated with the program incentives and privileges related to exemption from bank guarantee for employees.
The memorandum was signed at the headquarters of Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the presence of His Excellency Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Executive Council in Umm Al Quwain, and Mohammed Abdullah Al Mahdi, Director of Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization Office in Umm Al Quwain and Abdullah Khamis Al Suwaidi, the program's chief executive officer.
The MoU was aimed at facilitating and encouraging the process of developing the business, motivating citizen initiatives and implementing the strategy of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization in cooperation and supporting the federal and local agencies and programs through exemption from providing bank guarantee for workers in projects affiliated with the program according to the regulations set in this regard.
Abdullah al-Suwaidi said that the memorandum will provide support for youth projects by exempting them from providing bank guarantee and in accordance with the conditions and controls decided by the ministry

Umm Al Quwain Chamber Board of Directors holds its first meeting for its current session.





On the basis of the Emiri Decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al-Mualla, Member of Supreme Council - Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, no.5 2017 on the restructuring of the Board of Directors of Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the current session 2017-2020. The Board held its first procedural meeting on Thursday, 7/9/2017 at the Chamber's headquarters.

HE Saeed Bin Nasser Al Talay, Chairman of the Board, expressed his sincere thanks to His Highness the Ruler of Umm Al Quwain for his confidence in forming and naming the members of the Board of Directors and pledging to work with all concerned federal or local bodies to develop and sustain our national economy and work. To implement the State's strategy of progress, prosperity and good for all.
The election was held during the meeting, Saeed bin Nasser Al Talay, Chairman of the Board, Sultan Humaid Abdullah, First Vice President, Khalafan Ahmad Musfer, Second Vice President, Obaid Ibrahim Humaid, Treasurer and Aisha Rashid Sultan Latim, Deputy Treasurer.
The members of the Standing Committees, the Specialized Committees and the Regional and International Committees were also elected and appointed in accordance with the provisions of the Chamber's Law and Rules of Procedure.

HE Saeed bin Nasser Al-Talay said that the Board of Directors will work hard and continue the previous Board of Directors march through serious contribution to economic development and investment promotion in Umm Al-Quwain. He pointed out that close cooperation between the members of the Board of Directors will enhance the role of business owners in the sustainable development process.

New support for members of Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla Program





Abdullah Khamis Al Suwaidi, CEO of Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla Program, discussion during reception of Mohammed Abdul Rahman Mahdi, Director of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization in Umm Al Quwain, accompanied by Hussein Khalfan Al Shamsi, Assistant Expert, Customer happiness, and Maryam Al Zaabi, Executive Director at the Ministry's Office in Umm Al Quwain, presented the procedures related to granting the projects associated with the program. Of the bank guarantee for their employees, which will apply procedures and controls that will include exemption for projects up to 100 workers, provided that exemptions be granted to two projects owned by citizens or partners citizens.
Al Suwaidi praised these incentives, which will be reflected on the members of the program projects, in terms of providing cash and non-payment of bank insurance payments amounting to three thousand dirhams for each worker. The meeting reviewed the benefits that will be received by members of the program, and the ministry's readiness to support them. 
Al Suwaidi stressed the importance of cooperation between the program and the ministry, and the importance of the signing of the memorandum of understanding between them, stressing that this action will provide support to projects leading citizens in the emirate. The program adviser attended the meeting on behalf of Al Zubaidi, and Salem Al Aleeli, Director of Information Center and Member of the Program Committee.

A collaboration between businesswomen of Umm Al Quwain and the Emirates Canadian University to promote the role of women




The Umm Al Quwain Businesswomen's Council signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Emirates Canadian University at the Chamber's headquarters yesterday, in the framework of enhancing partnership, exchange of experiences between the two sides, providing programs to boost performance and provide high quality services development of women

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by HE Aisha Rashid Laitim, Chairperson of Umm Al Quwain Businesswomen Council, and Dr. Galal Hatem, President of the Emirates Canadian University.
The signing ceremony was attended by Issa Abdulrahman Ateeq, Sultan Humaid Abdullah, Board Member of Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdullah Khamis Al Suwaidi Acting Director General of the Chamber, Muza Hatem Al Shamsi, Vice President of Umm Al Quwain Businesswomen Council, and Administrative Staff.
HE Aisha Rashid Laitim said that the signing of this Memorandum comes within the framework of the Council's keenness to benefit from the scientific and academic experiences of the College. As part of the Board's keenness to translate the wise guidance of Sheikha Sumaya Bint Saqr Al Qassimi, His Highness the Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, Honorary President of the Umm Al Quwain Business Women Council stressed the importance of coordination and cooperation with bodies, bodies and institutions that contribute to the development of women's economic work and supports their direct contribution to the national economy by encouraging entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship.

Umm Al Quwain Enhances Cooperation with DIFC Courts









Sultan Humaid Abdullah, Chairman of the Conciliation and Arbitration Center in Umm Al Quwain, received a delegation from the DIFC Courts, comprising Judge Shamlan Al Sawalhi and Ahmed Al Kamali, Director of International Intergovernmental Relations in the Courts of the Dubai Financial Center, In the presence of Bassem Al-Zubaidi, Advisor to the Umm Al Quwain Center and Salem Al-Aleeli, Director of the Information Center at Umm Al Quwain ChamberDuring the meeting, they reviewed the most important activities and competencies of the DIFC Courts and the Conciliation and Arbitration Center in Umm Al Quwain and discussed areas of cooperation. Judge Al Sawalhi said: "The DIFC Courts follow the Dubai Financial Center, 2004, the courts hear cases of financial and commercial disputes in accordance with English and English law and have good judicial expertise and rely on personal pleadings and hearing of experts and prosecutors. Most DIFC decisions do not resume or discriminate because most judges have experience In the fields of arbitration and financial and commercial disputes.

Umm Al Quwain Chamber sign an Agreement for Certificates of Origin International Recognition.





Dubai Chamber, as a representative of the World Council of Certificates of Origin in the UAE, has witnessed the adoption of international certificates of origin issued by Umm Al Quwain Chamber.
The agreement was signed at Dubai Chamber by Abdulla Khamis Al Suwaidi, Acting Director- General of UAQCCI, and Atiq Juma Faraj Nasib, Senior Director of Commercial Services Sector at Dubai Chamber, and Deputy Chair of the International Country of Origin Accreditation Committee of the ICC World Chamber Federation. The signing ceremony was attended by HE Humaid Mohammed bin Salim, Secretary-General of the Federation of UAE's Chambers of Commerce and Industry; Salem Rashed Al Aleeli, Director of the Center of Information and Certificate of Origin at UAQCCI, along with senior officials from both sides.
Abdulla Khamis Al Suwaidi, Acting Director- General of UAQCCI, described the agreement as a major step in supporting the competitiveness of Umm Al Quwain's private sector, and enhancing exports from the Emirate to international markets.
For his part, Atiq Juma Faraj Nasib, Senior Director of Commercial Services Sector at Dubai Chamber and Deputy Chair of the International Country of Origin Accreditation Committee of the ICC World Chamber Federation, said the agreement reflects the strong collaboration and partnership that joins the two parties, highlighting that abiding by international standards in CoO issuance enhances the position of the UAE business community and elevates its international reputation. Nasib invited all local and regional chambers to adopt these standards, in order to enhance collaboration and strengthen ties with international peers.
Salem Al-Aleeli, Director of the Center of Information and Certificate of Origin, explained that the signing of this agreement will enhance trade exchange and exports to other countries to adopt the certificate of origin at the international level.

A Memorandum of Understanding between Umm Al Quwain Chamber and Umm Al Quwain Charity.





Sheikh Marwan bin Rashid Al Mualla, Chairman of Umm Al Quwain Charity Association, called for strengthening cooperation especially in the Year of Giving and strengthening relations with the concerned institutions.
A memorandum of understanding was signed yesterday morning between Umm Al Quwain Chamber and Umm Al Quwain Charity Association. Mr. Al-Suwaidi, Acting Director-General of the Umm Al Quwain Chamber, affirmed that there are common aspects between the Chamber and the Assembly concerning their humanitarian role by providing a spirit of citizenship and social solidarity and working to help others in all aspects. Information, publications and statistics issued by the parties and participation in events, conferences, workshops and training courses.
The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Umm Al Quwain Charity Association by Mr. Issa Ali Bulhiol, a member of the Board of Directors of the Association. He praised the importance of cooperation between the Chamber and the Association in aspects related to the cohesion of the UAE society and the establishment of the bonds of love and tolerance among its members.
He added that the Chamber will contribute to the consultation or studies of the Assembly with assistance in the development of technical aspects of the information network and programs adopted by the Assembly.

Umm Al Quwain Chamber strengthen cooperation with America


In his visit to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Umm Al Quwain Paul Ramsey Malek, Consul General of the United States in United Arab Emirates, he met both Saeed Nasser Al-Talay Chairman of Umm Al-Quwain Chamber, and Sultan Hamid Abdullah, deputy chairman of the chamber, and Aisha Rashid leytaim member of the Board of Directors, and Abdullah Khamis Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Chamber Acting.
The meeting was also attended by Sultan Saeed Sultan Al Ali, CEO of Ports, Customs and Free Zone in Umm Al Quwain,Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber has been welcomed the Consul General expressed his confidence that the U.A.E-US relations are developing in various fields, a historic relations emphasizes the importance of mutual cooperation, and expressed the Consul General for pleased to visit the chamber and look at the investment and trade fields available and the importance of expanding cooperation and facilities given in this regard relations, and praised the consul-general is deeply bilateral relations with the U.A.E and the importance of developing them.
Consul General was accompanied on his visit by the Deputy Martin Kelly and Shon Jriteley Consul economic official, on the occasion of this visit, the President of the Chamber gave a Chamber Shield Statue to the General Consul as a souvenir.

Preparation center of «Foreign Ministry» in Umm Al Quwain Chamber






The Director General Acting of the Umm Al Quwain Chamber, Abdullah Khamis Al-Suwaidi, Greeted Dr. Rashid Al-Afari, Supervisor General for External Centers at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Dr. Rashid Al-Afari offer sincere thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain for directing his facilitating the procedures relating to the establishment of the Ministry Center in Umm Al Quwain Chamber and provide all facilities in this regard.
Al-Afari said: It’s based on the directives of HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister to provide special services keep pace with the overall development of the country, and in order from the ministry to the government excellence they initiated the opening of many centers in all emirates, provided consular services and ratifications for the citizens, residents, companies and institutions in order to facilitate them.

AL-Mualla confirms the evolution of women's contribution to the development process



His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain yesterday at the Emiri Diwan,honours the graduates of vocational diploma for entrepreneurship and business development plans for women and those who have contributed in the preparation of the diploma course.

Workshop awareness about the new insurance policy for vehicles






Insurance Commission organized an awareness workshop for new insurance policy for vehicles at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Umm Al Quwain on the evening of Thursday, 02/02/2017. During the workshop, the new documents for vehicles was presented, which was effected from the first of January.

Umm Al Quwain hosting events Gourmet Festival and modified cars after tomorrow




Umm Al Quwain in the January 31 / WAM /Umm Al Quwain events Gourmet Food Festival and the modified cars which is organized by the team, "promising", sponsored by Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla Program for Youth projects support will start next Thursday.The aim of this first of its kind in Umm Al Quwain festival to enrich the balance of the elements of the tourist and economic attractions as well as enhancing the status of entrepreneurs and influential citizens as agents of a vital role in the business

sector. The festival - which runs until February 11 will contain the participation of national competencies for events and exhibitions Foundation along with many restaurants and food stalls that offer various local, Arab and international varieties. The festival includes performances and competitions daily and effectiveness of the modified cars "UAQ Drive & Meet" as well as provide space to play and fun presence of cartoon characters for children.

Modified auto show in Umm Al Quwain early February








Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla Program for Youth projects support signed today a cooperation agreement with good Ideas Company FZE (EMMA ARABIA) on the establishment of the effectiveness of the modified car show on the sidelines 
of the festival gourmet (The Gourmet Festival) which is evaluated by the program under the supervision of a team "promising" in February.
The agreement was signed by HE Abdullah Khamis Al Suwaidi, CEO of program Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla for Youth projects support and Mr. Thierry Gay, director of good Ideas Company FZE / Emma Arabia.
HE Abdullah Al Suwaidi confirmed that under the agreement the company will hold a "good Ideas," an exhibition of modified cars in Umm Al Quwain to coincide with the gourmet festival which organized by the program near the vicinity of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Umm Al Quwain arena. Mr. Thierry Gay called the audience to participate and attend the "Auto Show", which will begin from 3 pm until 11 pm on Friday, February 3, 2017.
